Thank you for your interest in StaySAFE, a free, structured, and modular programme that helps companies strengthen their workplace safety and health (WSH) capabilities, regardless of their current level of WSH maturity.

During an onsite visit by an appointed WSH professional, your company will receive targeted training, practical guidance, and advice tailored to your workplace. This will help improve your company’s risk management practices, raise WSH standards, and put in place sustainable systems for continual improvement.

Building on the strengths of the former StartSAFE and WSH Assistance Visits programmes, StaySAFE provides a more seamless and practical way for companies to strengthen their WSH capabilities.

We recommend you select the worksite where you have the most WSH challenges so that our contractor may best guide you and help to address your WSH concerns. To better understand your challenges, our appointed contractor may ask about your safety critical jobs, current WSH practices and common injuries or incidents that occur in your workplace.

We seek your understanding that we may scope the walkthrough to fit within a half day visit if your worksite is large.

Terms and Conditions

By clicking the “Submit” button, your company is deemed to have agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Allocation of visits is solely at WSH Council’s discretion.
Companies that have previously completed a similar visit offered by the WSH Council within the past 24 months are not eligible to participate in the StaySAFE Programme. If a company is found to have previously participated, WSH Council reserves the right to recover costs incurred from the company.
StaySAFE is conducted for the purpose of providing general guidance and recommendations to support your company’s workplace safety and health improvement efforts. The observations, advice, and materials shared during the visit are based on information made available at the time of the visit and do not constitute a comprehensive assessment of all workplace risks or compliance with statutory requirements. StaySAFE does not constitute a “WSH audit” within the meaning of the Workplace Safety and Health (Safety and Health Management System and Auditing) Regulations 2009 and is not a substitute for any audit directed under Regulation 11(1) of those Regulations, save that a company which has been specifically directed by the Ministry of Manpower to complete StaySAFE in lieu of such an audit may rely on its completion of StaySAFE to satisfy that specific direction, in accordance with the terms of the direction issued to it.
Participation in the visit does not relieve the company of any legal obligations. The company remains solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes of practice. Neither the WSH Council nor its appointed service providers shall be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from or in connection with any reliance on the information, recommendations, or guidance provided by the visit. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Companies are encouraged to seek independent professional advice tailored to their specific circumstances. The programme does not create a duty of care owed by WSH Council beyond the general guidance provided.
Nothing in the visit or materials gives rise to a legally binding obligation on WSH Council or its service providers, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, save as expressly set out in these terms.
